We are a volunteer-based Organization, helping people in need and ones who have newly arrived to the US to build safe, healthy, and prosperous lives by supporting basic humanitarian needs, connecting them to relevant resources, and assisting in integration to the society and adapting to the new culture.
"Hello and welcome to our large family friendly community. Allow me to introduce ourselves. My name is Natalia TraNa, founder of the "TraNa Relief National Association". We are a group of volunteers to provide assistance, resources, comfort, and support to our newly arrived immigrants to our shores, and those in need, here in the U.S.A. We are made up of hard-working and dedicated volunteers, and people like you who make our goals achievable, and our beneficiaries prosperous and successful.
As the beacon of light in the world, the United States government has been a refuge for those who seek safety and asylum. These weary immigrants traveled thousands of miles by air, land and sea, in hopes of finding peace and prosperity in the United States, known to all as the land of opportunity, to restart their lives from scratch with only a minimal of their personal effects from home.
Indeed this culture shock is a big change, with overwhelming information and requirements to begin rebuilding their shattered lives. Many of refugees have had to give up the usual stability, routine, comfortable life and existence, for complete uncertainty and ambiguous futures.
We are here to help make this transition to a new and better life, with love, support, community, and an abundance of endless advice and giving.
"TraNA" has been working non-stop, internationally, throughout the USA and local NY/NJ areas community to provide assistance to struggling immigrants and others in need.
A little about myself. In the 32nd year of my life in the US, I too was given the opportunity to become one of the active volunteers in the community. In March 2022, I joined a wonderful group of folks running the «Mexico/HELP Chat», on Telegram, and became an administrator of this multi-thousand-member chat.
A short time later, I established my own help channel "Help for U4U/HP Refugees" – our current project. This Telegram group quickly became the most widely respected and used channel. It is now well-known in the Ukranian/Russian community (world-wide), and established as a vital source of real-time information, support and assistance for every aspect of coming to America.
My telegram channel was providing indispensable resources for newly arrived refugees in the US. The number of requests for help increased exponentially every month. Our work became more in demand, and we needed a better organizational system.
After consulting with my team of volunteers, we decided that for us to grow, we needed to become a non-profit organization (we have been approved by IRS as a 501c3 public charity organization on December 13th, 2022) . We hoped and continue to hope, to get additional funding and increase our capacity to help immigrants by recruiting more volunteers. It is our profound mission, to facilitate immigrant life in America, to one day achieve the American Dream. Out of this purpose, on October 25, 2022, our organization "TraNa Relief Association, Inc." was born.
There are many non-profit organizations in our networks that help people outside the USA. What makes us different, is that we cater to the immediate needs of the people who have arrived in the United States. Our organization focuses primarily on those inside the USA to provide help and support to these families and individuals.
Whatever their needs are, we serve the community proudly, with dedication and commitment.
We sincerely believe that everyone will be safe and well here, with us. We truly wish everyone who benefits from our services, health, happiness and success in America.
We need support!
In order to continue the invaluable work we do, and expand our efforts, we need help with funding/grants for our refugees’ projects in 2023. By bringing real assistance, hope and comfort to these families and welcome them to America, we invite YOU to be part of this monumental and inspiring mission.
With respect and gratitude,
Natalia.
We are grateful to every donor, every volunteer who has dedicated their time, resources or money. And it doesn't matter how much you donate today - $1, $10, $100 or $1 000 000, we use every dollar to the maximum - for those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances today. Thank you for everything! You are best!!! God Bless You!
We help with anything refugees might need: We find urgent housing, place them for a short stay in a hotel, provide transportation, call a taxi/car service if someone is dropped off on the road and the refugees have nowhere to go. We aid children, teenagers, and adults to obtain medical help with a doctor, an orthodontist, or dentist. Not every refugee has medical insurance in the beginning, and we can give referrals to medical professionals and resources, who themselves are willing to offer their valuable services to the needy. We even help with visits to the veterinarians for refugees’ cats and dogs.
In addition, we hold informational zoom virtual seminars on various topics with professionals that include, immigration, education in America, English language classes, housing, financial assistance, completing documentation, buying the first used car, benefits and about U4U (Uniting for Ukraine); help with taxes, banks, and more!
Moreover, we work in telegram chats and answer the questions of refugees, and on our channel we post useful information in a timely manner.
In fact, our channel on Telegram has become the most trusted support channel of over 10,000 subscribers, with our volunteers working 24/7 for Ukrainian arrivals.
We have already had tremendous success, and held a huge National project for Ukrainian children “My First Christmas in America”, featuring multiple events, and sent 243 sweet gifts throughout the country, held two big New Year’s Shows for children in Brooklyn, New York and Marlboro, New Jersey, where more than 100 children visited and each received gifts, as well as 15 gifts were presented personally in Brighton Beach before Christmas. The Mayor of the city, Jonathan Hornick, also visited the Children’s Party in Marlboro, NJ! He warmly congratulated and greeted everyone.
We held a meeting for refugees in New York with representatives of the administration from the Mayor’s office, UN ambassadors and Congresswoman Yvette Clark. Our organization has received government certificates of recognition and gratitude.
Also, we took Ukrainian refugees with children to a Holiday Park “Six Flags” in New Jersey.
Our Goal is to serve everyone who is in need.
Our vision is to bring light into the darkest of circumstances.
To bring a healing to those most in need. To bring a lasting restoration to the most vulnerable communities.
