OUR STORY
From the Start
Beginning March 2022, Natalia Travilina became a full time volunteer serving the Ukrainian refugees along side an amazing group of people.
Together with other volunteers, she has decided to open a charitable non-profit organization to help all those in need of assistance. We do not specifically want to serve just the Ukranian refugees.
A “Help U4U/HP refugee” channel became one of the most trusted channels for Ukranian Refugees fleeing the war torn country.
There are a lot of people who can be in dire need and we want to be that helping hand in people lives when they face injustice and tragedies.

About us
Our non-profit organization, the TraNa Relief Association, have been working hard internationally, throughout the USA and local NY area community to provide assistance to struggling Ukranian immigrants who have been invited to come to America via the U4U program, as well as through other humanitarian efforts.
Since March 2022, with a team of dedicated volunteers, we have been working around the clock to help Ukrainian refugees who have newly arrived in America.
Our organization has become well-known in the Ukrainian/Russian community as a vital source of information and resources for Ukrainian Immigrants. It is an honor to have already received numerous recognitions, commendation, and awards for our service to the community, by the United Nations, Office of the Mayor of New York, United States Congress, and by other officials and dignitaries. We are proud of the work we have done so far, but our mission continues.

WE are bringing real assistance, hope and comfort to these families and welcome them to America! We invite you to be part of this monumental and inspiring mission. We need money for the development of the organization so that in the future we can give jobs to coordinators, managers and, at the same time, continue to help tens of thousands of refugees who turn to us every day, because we are THE National Help Center!
This never-ending and tireless effort, has become a “full time job” for some helpers and we need financial support for overhead to pay our rent, bills, food, to buy the necessary things to run the organization, such as, for example, open a separate telephone line, buy a new monitor, printer, etc. (in the future, rent a small office), pay for the services of a Non Profit Lawyer, and so on.
DO NOT pass by! Please support our organization with your kind and generous donations/gifts/transfers - which you can now officially write off from income tax in 2023 - and become an important part of our story, in making a real difference in people’s lives.
We cannot do this alone!
What we do
We help with anything refugees might need: We find urgent housing, place them for a short stay in a hotel, provide transportation, call a taxi/car service if someone is dropped off on the road and the refugees have nowhere to go.
We aid children, teenagers, and adults to obtain medical help with a doctor, an orthodontist, or dentist. Not every refugee has medical insurance in the beginning, and we can give referrals to medical professionals and resources, who themselves are willing to offer their valuable services to the needy. We even help with visits to the veterinarians for refugees’ cats and dogs.
In addition, we hold informational zoom virtual seminars on various topics with professionals that include, immigration, education in America, English language classes, housing, financial assistance, completing documentation, buying the first used car, benefits and about U4U (Uniting for Ukraine); help with taxes, banks, and more!
Moreover, we work in telegram chats and answer the questions of refugees, and on our channel we post useful information in a timely manner.
In fact, our channel on Telegram has become the most trusted support channel of over 10,000 subscribers, with our volunteers working 24/7 for Ukrainian arrivals.

Our continuing vision:
We plan to develop and work on many new useful projects for refugees! For example, we wish to have the opportunity to provide housing, to invite refugee children to summer camp, to provide basic necessities for the families who have stayed, the ability to pay for urgent visits to doctors or veterinarians for those who do not have insurance. Organize educational workshops for children and adults.
We all pray for a speedy end to the war in Ukraine, but also to new beginnings here in the USA!
Our vision is to create a healthy, strong and vibrant community, with all the important cultural values, a successful society of newly arrived refugees, which will help America become even more successful!

Ukrainian refugees were forced to leave their country because of the war. Many had their homes destroyed, loved ones died, and in America these wonderful people are starting a new life from scratch.
