About TraNa Relief Association
TraNa Relief Association is a New York–based, volunteer-driven nonprofit organization (501(c)(3)) dedicated to supporting lawful Ukrainian refugees and individuals from the former Soviet Union who have sought safety and a new beginning in the United States. Founded in 2022 in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by war and displacement, TraNa has spent four years serving the community with compassion, dignity, and unwavering commitment. We are an approved NYC vendor with an active PASSPort account, enabling us to participate in city-supported programs and services. Our organization has been recognized by elected officials, engaged in government-supported initiatives, and featured in multiple newspaper publications and television segments. These acknowledgments reflect the strength of our mission and the growing support for our work. TraNa Relief Association is powered by dedicated volunteers and trusted community partners. We currently operate without federal funding and are actively pursuing opportunities for larger-scale contracts and institutional support to expand our impact. Notably, our Telegram platform has become one of the most trusted support networks for Ukrainian newcomers, with over 10,000 subscribers, as well as eight additional community chat groups. Through these channels, our volunteers provide real-time guidance, resource navigation, and direct assistance—operating 24/7 to support individuals and families in need. In addition, we conduct in-person events and community activities, host online educational seminars, and provide direct humanitarian assistance to support individuals and families in stabilizing and rebuilding their lives.
