Founded in 2022 in response to the humanitarian crisis caused by war and displacement, TraNa has spent four years serving the community with compassion, dignity, and unwavering commitment.
We are an approved NYC vendor with an active PASSPort account, enabling us to participate in city-supported programs and services.

US IN ACTION

Education and Professional Orientation
We provide educational and professional orientation sessions on a wide range of essential topics, including financial literacy and building a strong credit history, immigration law, ESL programs, Medical and Accounting career pathways, esthetician training, tax guidance, college education, employment, career development, and health and wellness.
While we do not directly conduct ESL or professional training programs, we collaborate with trusted local schools and partner organizations to connect our community members with high-quality educational opportunities and resources.
Our informational sessions are offered both online and in person to ensure accessibility for all.
We also actively participate in NYC community resource fairs and events alongside elected officials and local community-based organizations, helping individuals access vital services and build pathways to success.

Culture, Therapy & Community Life
We believe that connection is essential for healing and building a new life. Many of the people we serve arrive in the United States without family or friends, having escaped the war in Ukraine.
Creating a supportive community environment helps individuals restore their emotional well-being and feel a sense of belonging on new ground.
Through cultural and therapeutic experiences, we provide opportunities for people to heal, connect, and grow.
Our programs, such as classical concerts, ballet performances, art, floral, culinary, and crafts therapy sessions, as well as cultural expos and holiday celebrations like Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, play a vital role in helping individuals build a stable, fulfilling, and socially connected life in America.

Legal Online and Consultation Support
We provide online and in-person informational seminars and consultations with trusted professional representatives on immigration, housing, tax and financial services, education, and other critical issues.
Our programs also address healthcare access, trauma-informed support, employment guidance, case management, and navigation of essential services, helping individuals better understand their rights and available resources.

Humanitarian and Practical Assistance
Our organization provides direct humanitarian support to low- and no-income individuals and families by purchasing and distributing essential goods.
Many of the people we serve lack access to basic necessities, including household items, kitchen supplies, personal hygiene products, and food.
We offer continuous, 24/7 support to respond to urgent needs and emergency situations, ensuring that individuals receive timely assistance and guidance when they need it most.
In addition to essential goods, we assist with clothing, furniture, and transportation-related services.
Through this comprehensive support, we help families stabilize their living conditions, reduce immediate hardship, and begin rebuilding safe, healthy, and independent lives in the United States.
